Two golden threads run the length of this piece like a path through a garden. Around them, burgundy blooms, dark green leaves and a bright saffron star sit in mirrored rows, each edge softly blurred, as only true ikat can be: the threads were dyed by hand before the fabric was ever woven, so every motif carries the slight, living movement of the loom.
